Mohawk is back on the road in 2022. After putting the “new normal” to the test this year with its Mohawk Momentum Roadshow, the manufacturer has announced that it will be back on the road again in early 2022. Kicking off January 5 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the appointment-only traveling show will provide personalized product and program experiences to retailers across the United States.

“This year, Mohawk Momentum Roadshow helped us connect with over 3,500 retail partners in unprecedented times – all while providing solutions from our largest product launch to date,” said Trey Thames, Mohawk’s senior vice president of residential sales. “Mohawk Momentum Roadshow 2022 will showcase the latest in product innovations and program offerings that will drive differentiation and business growth throughout the year.”

Starting in January, attendees will get a first look at Mohawk’s full line of new flooring solutions from three of the most recognized brands in the industry: Mohawk, Pergo and Karastan. “2021 was a very challenging year for everyone, but we are excited about 2022,” said Adam Ward, vice president, resilient, Mohawk. “We are excited to build off of so many successful launches in 2021 and continue to focus on domestically made products with enhanced levels of realism. The domestic manufacturing has been a draw—we can get its you faster and more consistently.”


“Mohawk Momentum Roadshow 2022 will also feature our continued investment in the development and innovation of our marketing programs and digital solutions,” Thames said. “Enhancements to Omnify and Neighborhood Ad Manager further simplify the consumer journey, creating a seamless shopping experience to help our retailers win and close every possible sale.”

Joel Tetreault, our vice president of marketing and product development for resilient, said retailers have a lot of new products to look forward to. First, there’s the comprehensive refresh to the Solidtech franchise, which includes new, trend-forward designs with cleaner looks across the board, a full refresh of the Plus tier where we are introducing some new technologies. “Clean Protect, our proprietary, built-in antimicrobial technology as well as RealPlank – innovative realism technology that helps achieve the most authentic look and feel in LVT compared to real wood or tile,” Tetreault said.

CleanProtect delivers for the consumer in three ways, it disrupts by attaching to the bacteria’s cellular wall, preventing growth, it disables by preventing the bacteria’s ability to produce enzymes necessary for energy production and it destroys the bacteria DNA’s ability to replicate.

Second, a refresh to Pergo Extreme with an introduction to a new “best” tier called Pergo Extreme Ultra.  The Ultra tier features WetProtect, a waterproof technology that allows Pergo Extreme to offer a warranty that includes subfloor.  It will also feature RealPlank – innovative realism technology that helps achieve the most authentic look and feel in LVT compared to real wood or tile.

“WetProtect is an incredibly important story to tell – and ours is one that no one else can, with the only warranty that includes subfloor, unmatched in the industry,” Tetreault said. “The consumer that will choose Pergo Extreme Ultra is one who values the best in performance in addition to the most realistic visuals, delivered with RealPlank technology.  This consumer will also value the range of decors, colors and plank selection that even offers a wider-longer, 10”x72” plank in the Preferred tier.”

Third, expect a refresh to the VersaTech product line with updated decors, a simplified assortment and more clear trade-up from Essentials and Select while adding Clean Protect, Mohawk’s proprietary, built-in antimicrobial technology to the Plus tier.
